We decided to break Passover at this new, reservation-only bar and were certainly not disappointed. I had heard it was quirky so I expected nothing less from the bathroom. It wasn't over the top but it certainly provided everything you might need when using the toilet (which was a bit small and an odd shape I must say).
Toilet paper anyone? Here's more on barmini.

I had been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and finally got the chance. We ate outside so the only restroom I had the chance to see was the one on the first floor by the bar. It was just a single stall but they tried to do what they could with the little space. It was interesting to see the double toilet roll holder on the wall I don't think I've seen that too often.
The textured wall was a nice touch and while I can't remember exactly what the trash can looked like, I remember thinking it was quite out of place. Here's more on Cafe Atlantico.
Friday, 5/1/09, 9 pm - Penn QuarterWedged between the kitchen and the bar and up a ramp sits Central's restrooms. I loved the pearlized glass tiles covering the walls. They were offset by pink/dark mauve walls and a matching sink - a tilted-trough sink. The three stalls were fully separated and the handicap stall has its own sink it (I didn't get a chance to check it out). The toilet paper roll perched on its own stand was a nice touch.
Again, apologies for the blur. I meant to also get a picture of the door - pieces of dark blue glass set in a glass door with a wooden frame. It allowed you to see figures outside, but wasn't that translucent to make more much more than a shape. The branding continued into the restroom, with the door handles were large "C"s - on both the inside and the outside. The bathroom was clean and well kept, definitely living up to the restaurant - stylish, but no over the top. Here's more on Central.

I was pleasantly surprised by the decor of the restroom. It was quite big - on one wall stood three stalls with floor-to-ceiling doors. On the perpendicular wall were two white pedestal sinks. The rest of the room was decorated in classic white (tiny white tiles on the floor).
All the stall doors were closed so it was hard to figure out if any were occupied. Once inside, the bathroom took a turn south, as it wasn't the cleanest place. And all though the door went all the way to the floor, the dividers between the stalls didn't. Which I guess is good if you run out of toilet paper, but it seems strange to me. In the corner of each was a little plastic red and yellow garbage can for trash. Out of place, but cute.
